CCDO Demolition Labourer Description

The CCDO Demolition Labourer Card is the first step in a Demolition qualification. Designed for individuals new to the industry or who are converting from labouring in general construction to Demolition. The CCDO Demolition Labourer course teaches site safety, waste disposal and emergency procedures, enabling holders of the card to perform general labouring duties under supervision.

CCDO Demolition Labourer (Green) Card is the first step in the demolition career pathway. Duties

•  General labouring duties under supervision as directed by Chargehand or above.
•  Assist teams of CCDO Demolition Refurbishment Operatives and CCDO Advanced Demolition Operatives in the clearing arising from the demolition processes being undertaken and ensure the correct segregation of wastes prior to removal from the demolition site.
•  Assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a Chargehand or Supervisor where required.

CITB Touch Screen Test

•  To qualify, you need to have passed the Current Demolition CITB Operative or Above Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Test. Alternatively, we now also accept the CPCS Health, Safety and Environment Test. To help you prepare, you can access revision materials and practice questions here.

Asbestos Awareness Certificate

•  You must hold a valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate. Other higher level Asbestos Training will be accepted if completed by an approved provider. You can only obtain your Asbestos Awareness Certificate through NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, or ACAD (not E-Learning).

Pre-requisites

HSE TEST

Current Demolition Operative or above Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Touchscreen Test Pass.

PREVIOUS ASBESTOS TRAINING

You must hold a current Asbestos Awareness Certificate (as a minimum). Other higher level Asbestos Training will be accepted. You can only obtain your Asbestos Awareness Certificate through NDTG, UKATA, ARCA, or ACAD (not E-Learning).

COURSE

Pass CCDO Demolition Labourer Level 1 Course. You can complete the 1 day CCDO Demolition Labourer course with Level 1 test at NDTG venues nationwide.
